The Color imageRUNNER C4080 has the ability to attain speeds of up to 40 pages per minute for black-and-white output and up to 36 pages per minute for brilliant color output, in a compact, user-friendly design. Advanced digital technology provides crisp, clean, black-and-white text and color images at 1200 x 1200 dpi, with 256 gradations for outstanding printing. The Color imageRUNNER C4080 delivers fast print speeds and warm-up times by using Canon’s new Twin-Belt Fusing Technology and imageCHIP architecture that provides more speed and power for greater productivity. Exceptional multifunction performance is achieved through a dual processor design, with up to 1.5GB RAM and an 80GB hard disk provided as standard equipment.

 In addition to color copying and printing, the Color imageRUNNER C4080 can be easily transformed into a powerful central communications hub for sharing and managing information in the office. With the Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder (DADF), the Color imageRUNNER C4080 can scan up to 70 ipm at 300 dpi and distribute scanned data to multiple destinations, including individual or groups of e-mail and Internet-Fax addresses, internal Image Server Mail Boxes, and to network or host files and folders, and to document management applications such as Canon imageWARE. With the optional Super G3 Fax Board-V1, the Color imageRUNNER C4080 operates as a powerful fax machine, transmitting documents as fast as 3 seconds per page.
