The imageRUNNER 8070 offers a complete solution of business communication. Network ScanGear captures documents for transmission over the network back to your desktop. Universal Send converts documents for distribution to any network destination, email addresses, internet faxes, local mail boxes, network folders, and document management systems taking advantage of searchable PDF (OCR) and PDF encryption capabilities. eCopy Share Scan OP integrates hard-copy operations into workflow of software applications. EFI Digital Storefront is a turnkey Web-base print center.

The imageRUNNER 8070 utilizes LDAP support for registering up to five corporate address books. Encrypted PDF Mode restricts access to scanned PDF documents providing an extra level of security by password protecting the document. Searchable PDF (OCR) Mode creates PDF files with searchable text using key word searches.
