The Canon DR-7580 model is a high-performance desktop production scanner that offers outstanding image quality, easy handling, and versatility.  A unique feeding system and advanced senor technology help ensure that batches of mixed paper sizes or other challenging scan operations are handled with minimal operator intervention at maximum scanning speed – exactly what a high-volume production scanner is expected to do. 

With the Staple Detection feature, the Canon DR-7580 is able to detect certain stapled documents and automatically stops the scanning process instead of causing a system breakdown or damage to the machine.  With the Ultrasonic Double Feed detector sensors, anytime the machine detects a possible overlap or double-feed, then scanning is paused and an error alert is sent to the operator.
